Area kids can receive summer library cards

The Joplin Public Library and the Webb City Public Library are awesome places for kids during the summer, with events and resources designed to keep children occupied and learning.

Did you know that ANY CHILD (birth to 12th grade) – no matter where they live – can receive a summer library card, attend events, and check out materials from either library from now until the end of July?!

Studies are universally conclusive that children must read and/or be read to during the summer months to avoid learning regression. Tell everyone you know – and make sure that with all of that great play your children are doing, they also participate in some adventurous learning over the summer. Get a FREE library card!
