Alleged Drunk Driver Crashes Into Utility Pole

An alleged drunk driver from Joplin crashed his car into a utility pole near Diamond Tuesday night. The Highway Patrol tells News Talk KZRG the crash happened on Marten Road around 8:15 p.m when 27-year-old Charles Martin drove down an easement and hit the pole. He was charged with DWI and careless and imprudent driving. Martin sustained minor injuries.
