Masked Intruder Kicks In Door Of Joplin Home, Fires Gun
A masked intruder kicked in someone’s door in the 1800 block of South Indiana early Wednesday morning, demanded cash and fired a gun before taking off. Joplin Police took swift action and hunted down that masked man, now identified as 21-year-old Bradley Powell, less than 15 minutes later hiding in a car about a mile away at 23rd and Wall.
The victims identified the suspect by the sound of his voice.
Powell has two guns on him when he was found. He was arrested on a slew of charges including a
misdemeanor Joplin warrant, 1st degree burglary, 1st degree attempted robbery, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
No one was injured during the incident.
