Webb City Man Killed By Semi

Joplin Police continue to investigate a crash in which a 19-year-old Webb City man was hit and killed by a semi on I-44 Wednesday night.

The victim has been identified as Andrew Clark.

Joplin Police Captain Trevor Duncan tells News Talk KZRG Clark was crossing the interstate near Mile Marker 8 (Range Line) from south to north. He made it across both east bound lanes, and over the concrete barrier, but Clark of didn’t make it any further as he was hit by a semi-truck in the west bound lanes.

The truck driver is cooperating with this ongoing investigation.
