Boil Advisory Lifted In Carterville
The boil advisory in Carterville was been lifted Tuesday morning after the city’s water table dropped more than 100 feet within a day, causing a huge drop in water pressure. City officials say it was an “anomaly”, and don’t have the answers as to why it happened right now.
The boil advisory was only precautionary, and all tests have returned with no issues. The city will stay on both their well water and Webb City’s water until they have more answers on Thursday or Friday.
