Joplin K9 Brings Down Alleged Motorcycle Thief

A Carterville man is behind bars after he was finally captured by a Joplin K-9 Thursday night. Joplin Police says 28-year-old Dustin Holden of Carterville was on a stolen motorcycle when he lead the police on a chase into a wooded area in the Arbor Hills neighborhood in South Joplin. He hid in the woods and was spotted several times, but was able to evade police until K9 Fighter was brought in to finish the job.

Holden was arrested for resisting arrest, and vehicle tampering.
