Evidence Indicates Possible Motive in Abortion Clinic Fire
It’s believed he was on a mission to protect the unborn.
Wesley Brian Kaster, of Columbia, is suspected of starting the fire at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Columbia on February 10th.
No one was in the clinic at the time of the fire.
Kaster has not confessed, but the FBI says on March 20th, Kaster’s wife was quoted as saying in a phone call to her husband that she “didn’t want to hear more about the mission for the unborn.”
He faces charges of using explosive material to maliciously damage federal property and malicious use of explosive materials.
In a search of his home, investigators found several weapons, ammunition, drugs and paraphernalia.
