Freeman Hosting Event To Help You Put Your Medical Wishes In Writing

Do your loved ones know your final wishes or what to do if one of them need to step in to make the decision for you while you’re in the hospital? Not only should they know, but it should be in writing. Freeman Health System is hosting a free event on Tuesday (4/16) to offer advice on creating a living will, designating a power of attorney, and getting your legal documents in order regarding medical treatment.

From 8 a.m-2 p.m, experts will be on hand at Freeman Hospital West in the main lobby to offer advice on National Healthcare Decisions Day. Notaries for official form completion, a sign language interpreter and Spanish interpreter will also be available.

Visitors and staff will have access to computer stations linked to prepareforyourcare.org and a wellness booth with stress dots and a doodle station.
