Death investigation continues in Crawford County

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office continues their investigation into a death over the past weekend. Crawford County Sheriff Danny Smith says his office received a report of a body located on property located at the northwest corner of 250th Street and Quincy a little after 6 Saturday evening.

The deceased male has been identified as 61-year-old Michael R Watson of Mulberry, Kansas.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate that there were no traumatic injuries to Mr. Watson and the cause of death will be determined pending toxicology reports.
