It’s been two years since a EF-2 tornado tore through Goodman, destroying the elementary school and causing extensive damage to the fire station. The Neosho airport also sustained minor damage. Luckily, no one was killed. Now two years later, Goodman Elementary is still rebuilding and should be ready for kids at the start of the 2019-2020 school year this fall. The new 45,000 square foot school will also include a FEMA safe room that’s open to the public.
