Joplin Police make DWI arrests, release March statistics

Even as they continue to warn people to drive sober or get pulled over…Joplin Police made three DWI arrests within a four-hour period Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Police always want the public to know it’s never okay to drive impaired and that they are always out looking for drunk drivers.

Police also reported that they responded to 7,000 calls in the month of March. An increase from 5,800 calls for service in February. So far in 2019, JPD has responded to over 18,500 calls.
