Guns, booze and a bullet proof vest

When you’re drinking with a neighbor on the back porch and you own a 22 caliber rife and a bullet proof vest, what else are you supposed to do, other then take turns shooting one another?

Two Rogers Arkansas men have been arrested after 50-year-old Charles Eugene Ferris and 36-year-old Christopher Hicks took turns putting on the bullet proof vest and shooting each other with a rifle.

First, Ferris put the vest on and hicks shot him in the chest. The bullet didn’t penetrate but it hurt Ferris and left a mark.

Hicks was next up to wear the vest, but Ferris, still “pissed” from the pain of the shot, unloaded a clip into the back of Hicks leaving him bruised and sore.

Ferris later went to the hospital and the hospital staff contacted the police. Ferris told police a story out of a spy movie where he was paid to protect an “asset” he took on fire and was shot. However, police spoke to Ferris’s wife who told them the truth. Both men have been arrested on charges of aggravated assault.
