The names of the three stabbing victims in Carthage have been released.

Just before 10 o’clock Sunday night, Carthage Police received a call about a disturbance in the 800 block of West Chestnut. 60-year-old Vincent Kimmel was arrested near the scene on allegations of 1st Degree assault. He was covered in blood when officers arrived on scene. While officers were on scene, dispatch was receiving numerous 911 calls about several people that had been stabbed. They’ve been identified as 36-year-old Sloan Roberts, in critical condition, 32-year-old Whitney Dipley now in stable condition and 32-year-old Jarred Bruner in stable condition.

Chief Greg Dagnan tells News Talk KZRG all three victims were inside the same home at the time of the stabbings, were acquaintances of the suspect and fled the house after they were stabbed. The Chief went on to say that it was not a random attack and the incident appears to have been over money dispute.
