Joplin Museum To Host Titanic Exhibit
A special exhibit about the Titanic will open this Tuesday, March 26th at the Joplin History and Mineral Museum.
The “Relics of the Titanic” exhibit will run through April 20th, with a special reception being held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 30th.
The world’s interest in the history of Titanic has endured for more than 100 years with April 15th marking the 107th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. Although it has been over a century since the infamous luxury liner sank in the Atlantic Ocean, there continues to be a thirst for Titanic facts, myths, and legends.
This exhibit is from the collection of Allen Shirley.
Admission is $3. The Joplin Museum Complex is located at Schifferdecker Park.
