Pineville Man Killed In McDonald County Crash

A Pineville man was killed Wednesday night in a three vehicle crash.

The Highway Patrol tells News Talk KZRG 60-year-old Ronald Longstaff was attempting to make a left turn onto Highway 71 in Jane around 9 o’clock when he was hit in the side by a semi driven by 54-year-old Jimmy Tracker of Hindsville, AR. Longstaff’s Jeep then hit the northbound driver, 20-year-old Meng Yang of Rocky Comfort.

Longstaff was pronounced dead at the scene. Yang and the semi driver were uninjured. A passenger in the semi, 60-year-old Vicki Tracker sustained minor injuries.

Longstaff was not wearing a seatbelt.
