Miami suspect taken into custody

It was a brief period “on the lamb” but Miami, Oklahoma robbery and shooting suspect  Justin Eby was captured after seven-hour manhunt, around 8 this morning.

Officers from numerous jurisdictions worked together to track him down and he was arrested without incident. He was located at 425 Rockdale in Miami

Shots were fired at a Miami, Oklahoma police officer around one a.m. Sunday morning.

As a result, a suspect in an armed robbery last week in northeast Oklahoma is now being sought by police

Police had stopped a car in the 200 block of G Street Northeast when a passenger came out of the back seat shooting.

Police identified Eby as the suspect at that time.

No one was injured.
