Council to participate in Joplin Transit Service Analysis

Joplin City Council Members have been invited to participate in a stakeholder meeting for the Joplin Transit Service Analysis from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 13 at Joplin City Hall.

Because a quorum of council members could be present, the City of Joplin, had to officially post the gathering late last week.

The overall effort will involve a detailed review of existing services, development of a community-inspired vision for the future, and a series of improvement alternatives for the Sunshine Lamp Trolley/Metro Area Public Transit System (MAPS).

The process begins this month with stakeholder meetings and will continue through year’s end.
