Columbus Warrant Lands Two in Jail
A search warrant executed in Columbus by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office nets drugs, stolen merchandise and two felons.
Cherokee County Sheriff David Groves tells News Talk KZRG that while officers were searching the home they located and recovered stolen property along with suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Two people at the home, in the 700 block of West Elm in Columbus, 38-year-old James Hensley and 31-year-old Victoria Baird were both arrested on charges of burglary, theft, possessing methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They are being held on an $11,500 bond.
