Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team makes arrests in Lamar
Three suspects were taken into custody on Tuesday in Lamar, in an investigation that started over a year ago.
Commander Chad Allison of the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team says detects went to 407 SE 53 RD Ln in Lamar to serve arrest warrants on 34-year-old Ary Cliett and 27-year old Chanstin Besendorfer.
Upon arrival at the above location both suspects were taken into custody without incident along with a third suspect identified as 44-year-old Paul Kennon who was wanted on a Felony Warrant for Child Support out of Vernon County.
ODET Detectives also seized 10 grams of suspected Meth, 10 grams of marijuana and a shotgun from the property.
Cliett had charges for 3 counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, resisting arrest and Unlawful Use of a Weapon and has a $10,000 Bond.
Besendorfer had a warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance $5,000 Bond.
The above charges all stemmed from a case ODET Detectives began in June of 2017. The case was worked in conjunction with the Barton County Prosecutor Mike Smalley, Lamar PD and Barton County Sheriff’s Office.
The Prosecutor was able to obtain several other arrest warrants from previous cases. Those could be served in the near future.
