A winter storm watch is in effect through Sunday afternoon for southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri.
If you’re contemplating traveling, consider revising your plans to avoid what could be a major storm.
There is a 75 percent chance of late-night snow tonight with more snow predicted for Sunday – as much as 6 inches, possibly even more.
The chance of snow on Sunday is 90 percent.
Get the blankets out for Saturday and Sunday nights. Expect a high on Sunday of only 25 and an overnight low of 1 degree Sunday night.
Expect more cold but no snow on Monday and Tuesday.
