Pennsylvania Ave. Bridge Closes Indefinitely

The Pennsylvania Avenue bridge that spans between 7th Street to 5th Street in Joplin is closed indefinitely as a result of a recent state inspection. The inspection recommends the closure for public safety and applies to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

City officials will review various options for the bridge and roadways in this area in the near future.
