A Wanted Man Turns Himself In

A man wanted for attempted murder and aggravated battery turns himself in.

Cherokee County Sheriff David Groves tells News Talk KZRG that 36-year-old Samuel Reffett turned himself in last night at the Cherokee County Jail. Reffett is accused of 2^nd degree attempted murder following an incident that took place near 5^th and Park in Baxter Springs on February 7^th.

Reffett and another suspect 39-year-old Charles Applegate are accused of the assault of Eric Ashley who was found with a head injury from a blunt object.
