Sarcoxie School Teacher Arrested for Sexual Contact with a Minor

A Sarcoxie school teacher has been arrested for sexual contact with a minor.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Baylee Turner of Joplin yesterday evening.

Turner, a teacher for Sarcoxie school district at the time of this incident, was taken into custody after the investigation revealed that she had sexual contact with a student.

Charges have been submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s office and additional charges are also pending at this time.
