Accused Killer Pleads Not Guilty
The man accused of the murder of Shawn Rockers on January 11 in Joplin, made his first court appearance today in Jasper County.
Michael Osborne entered a plea of not guilty for charges of first degree murder and armed criminal action this morning.
Osborne, who ran to the state of Washington, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals service after being on the run for over two weeks.
27-year-old Rockers was found by the Joplin police department lying on the road at 3rd and Connor, the victim of an apparent stabbing, and later died at freeman hospital.
Osborne will be back in court at the end of February.
