Webb City Police searching for Family Video burglary suspect
Webb City Police are on the search for a suspect who allegedly burglarized the Family Video store Monday afternoon around 1:30 p.m.
Webb City Police Chief Don Melton tells Newstalk KZRG the suspect is a 5’7″, 300 lb, white male who was dressed in black sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt, wearing a winter camouflage mask. Melton says the man went behind the counter, opened the cash register and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Melton adds that if you have any information about the incident, you should call them immediately. “If anybody sees any things suspicious or something that peaks their interest, have them call the PD immediately. Don’t wait to think that someone else is going to call or ‘I don’t want to bother them with this’, because you may be the person that calls in and gives us the suspect of one of these crimes or one of the several of the overnight theft from a motor vehicle crimes that we’ve been dealing with.”
