Right To Work “Unlikely” To Make It To Governor’s Desk
Will Right to Work make it back to the governor’s desk this year? You’ll remember Missouri lawmakers passed the bill in 2017, but voters quickly overturned it in 2018. Senate President Dave Schatz isn’t so sure it’ll get enough traction this year.
“I think it’s unlikely. Every individual senator has the ability to file the bill, and it’ll work it’s way through the process. But do I think it’s likely (that it will make it’s way to the governor’s desk)? No, I think it’s probably unlikely.”
Springfield Senator Eric Burlison has filed a Right-to-work proposal.
