Derek Sparks is Officer of the Week

Derek Sparks with the Miami Oklahoma Police Department is Law Enforcement Officer of the Week.

He recently was promoted to the School Resource Officer and said that being there for the kids and seeing the difference he makes by bridging the gap, the way children see and perceive law enforcement officers, is a real joy.
