Massive Fire Destroys Carl Junction Home

A massive fire has completely destroyed a home west of Carl Junction at Wells and County Road 287. Several agencies including Joplin, Webb City, Oronogo, and Asbury also assisted in putting out the blaze while also trying to keep the fire from spreading to the neighboring homes. Carl Junction’s Fire Chief tells News Talk KZRG no one was home at the time and none of the fire crews were injured. The State Fire Marshall is on the scene investigating, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
