Christmas of Hope Needs Our Help
You can still give hope to a child this Christmas by donating to Christmas of Home. Christmas of Hope brings love and Christmas Joy to over 500 kids in the foster care system and they can still use our help to meet this year’s goals.
Executive Director of Fostering Hope Sarah Burch, told News Talk KZRG that they are very close to this year’s goal, but with shopping day tomorrow and the possibility of last minute needs, more donations are needed. Sarah says, “Unfortunately, I don’t know what it is about the holidays, I think they are just stressful, but there are always kids that come into care between shopping day and Christmas day. We always have kids. So we want to make sure we have all those kids covered and I believe we will.”
Christmas of Hope had many large donors this year and that helps the cause, but there is still work to be done. They want to make sure every kid in the program, kids that have been separated from their family for some reason, have a joyful Christmas.
