Joplin Police Searching for Suspect in Child Abuse Case

Joplin Police are searching for a man in a child abuse case. Read the full press release below:

Thursday night at 10:19pm, the Joplin Police Department responded to a local hospital and began a child abuse investigation involving a 4-year-old child. Detectives arrested an adult female in the case and charges have been submitted to the prosecutor’s office.

Detectives and officers have been working since last night to locate and arrest a second suspect in the case. We are now asking the public’s help in locating Adam J. Duncan, 28, Joplin. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact police dispatch at 417-623-3131.
