Lamar High School Student Advances to the Semifinals of Teen Jeopardy
Lamar High School Junior, Autumn Shelton, has advanced to the semifinals in Jeopardy’s Teen Tournament.
In a pre-recorded episode of Jeopardy, Autumn was in the 5th of 5 matches, and she won her match with a grand total of 19600 points.
When Asked by Jeopardy Host Alex Tribek where she took her qualifying test for the tournament, Autumn explained how she had to go into a bathroom while on a class band trip in California, and took the test on her cell phone.
Autumn was one of the final nine contestants on Jeopardy’s teen Challenge. However, in her semifinal round match, she underbid in final Jeopardy, and even though she got the question correct, she did not make it to the finals.
