Joplin Girl Overturns Her Car Then Gets Hit by a Passerby

The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells News Talk KZRG that shortly after one this morning, 18-year-old Hailey Robinson of Joplin was heading north on Schifferdecker, just east of Joplin, when her car left the roadway and overturned.

 Hailey was able to get out of the overturned car after the accident, but she was then hit by a car driven by 59-year-old Richard Hilton of Galena.

Hailey was taken to a Joplin Hospital with moderate injuries.
