Vietnamese Buyers To Spend More Than $45 million On Missouri Agriculture Products

The Missouri Department of Agriculture, with the support of the Missouri Merchandising Councils for Soybeans, Corn, and Rice hosted a Vietnam Buyers Mission to Missouri last week. Vietnamese buyers say they intend to spend more than $45 million on Missouri agricultural products within the next year.

In total, 13 representatives from eight different Vietnamese companies participated in the event looking to purchase feed, and dairy ingredients, corn, soybeans, wheat, rice, nuts, beef, pork and poultry from Missouri suppliers. Meetings and tours hit every region of Missouri to showcase the state’s diverse agricultural systems.
