2 Injured In 3-Vehicle Crash South Of Joplin

Two people were injured Friday morning (3/23) in a three vehicle crash south of Joplin. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells News Talk KZRG it happened just after 11am on Highway 43, a mile south of Joplin. 80-year-old Earl Budd of Joplin made a left turn into the path of a car driven by 60-year-old Charlene Anderson of Seneca. The collision forced Budd’s car off the road and into a truck driven by 82-year-old Delmer Daniels of Joplin. Daniels had stopped in traffic. Budd and Anderson were taken to a Joplin hospital with injuries. Budd’s injuries are listed as moderate; Anderson’s as minor.
