One Of Three Suspects In Pittsburg Man’s Murder Goes On Trial In July

One of three people accused of killing a Pittsburg man in southeast Missouri will be tried for murder July 19th. The trial date was set Tuesday (2/13) for 42-year-old Elsie Hamilton. She’s charged with second degree murder, first degree robbery, first degree kidnapping and first degree tampering with a motor vehicle in the July 2016 death of Larry Weaver of Pittsburg. Weaver was killed when he allegedly caught Hamilton, her husband, Ronnie Robinson, and Larenzle Coleman trying to steal his motorcycle. Weaver was found in a cotton field in New Madrid County beaten to death.
