Close to 1,500 west-central Missouri Tyson workers will soon get a nice surprise in their paychecks. Congressman Vicky Hartzler says Tyson Foods is using it’s tax reform savings to give $1,000 bonuses to each full time worker at it’s Sedalia plant and $500 bonuses to each part time employee. Tyson also plans to add more educational and leadership development opportunities as well. The bonus program means close to $1.5 million for the Sedalia area economy. News Talk KZRG is reaching out to the Noel plant to see if they plan to do the same.
