Body recovered from Grand Lake

GROVE, Okla. – A spokesman for the Grand River Dam Association (GRDA) says a body believed to be that of a man from Bixby, Oklahoma missing for over two weeks was recovered late Saturday evening.

Justin Alberty of the GRDA says the man's clothing appears to match that of 48-year-old Troy Young who went missing on May 28th.

Alberty says the body was found in about 90 feet of water along Langley Bluff, about a mile north of Pensacola Dam.

Young was last seen leaving Cedar Port Marina in a 24-foot Blue Yellowfin boat at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday.

The boat was later recovered near the Ketchum Cove entrance.

Alberty says the body has not yet been officially identified.

He says it will be up to the local medical examiner to make that determination, along with the cause of death.
