Table Rock Lake drowning claims life of Joplin man

A man from Joplin, who had been reported missing by his family two days prior, was found dead in Table Rock Lake Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Mark E. Williams’ body was found by fishermen on Table Rock Lake, a half-mile from point 26 in Barry County.

The report says Williams was on a kayak on the lake before his passing.
